Molly Brooke-Palmer
Hi, I'm Molly! A queer artist, maker, Oxford Brookes staff member, Brookes Fine Art BA alumni and occasional life model. I work in many mediums across print, sculpture, drawing and ceramics. Thanks for stopping by.
My work explores the everyday, the mundane, the under appreciated, and the appreciated. Whether that be the way seasons change, or getting up to start the day.
It may be through the tactile treasure of the humble cabbage leaf, or the fortunate finding of forageable wild garlic. Or maybe the not so fortunate surprise of finding a rat named Pat that lives behind your kitchen sink.
I am fascinated by the seen and unseen, boring and beautiful, the domestic, the perfectly imperfect.
I am an artist but first and foremost a maker, and I am uncomfortably comfortable with this.
